Full-time Accountant/Bookkeeper
Exceptional Opportunity for a Full-time Accountant/Bookkeeper!
The main duties/responsibilities for this Entry- Mid-Level position include:
- Enter deposits and update the bank register
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and loans
- Accounts Payable processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and key operating ratio reports
- File sales/use tax returns
- Navigate various software programs catered towards healthcare entities
- Perform cost and revenue analysis to identify anomalies and patterns
Minimum Requirements include:
- Understanding of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Financial Reports
- Ability to create journal entries and understand the effects to the financial statements
- An understanding of payroll liabilities and payroll taxes
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel formatting, charts/graphs, functions, and formulae (i.e., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, filters, sorting, text to columns)
- One to three years’ experience with full-charge bookkeeping
Preferred but not required include:
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Experience with Paycom and ADP payroll software
- Experience with Microsoft products
- Understanding of GAAP and accrual/cash basis accounting
- Prior medical industry experience
