Steve Sheppard founded MCG’s ASC division upon joining the company in 1998. Prior to that time, he spent nine years in public accounting, four years as the chief financial officer of an integrated real estate organization that included a registered broker/dealer for real estate syndications, and seven years as the vice president of administration for a nationally-recognized integrated eye care organization.

Steve has been involved with many successful ASCs and is a frequent speaker at national eye care meetings. He has provided consulting services to major ophthalmic corporations. Under his leadership, the ASC division has grown to include equity participations and a full range of business and management services.

Steve and his wife Peggy are happily empty-nested in Springfield, Missouri.
